De Willemsvaart - Boattours between City & Beach
Boattours in the old center of The Hague and on the (2) canals between that city center and the beach.

In 2012 there will be tours every day in the city center. They last about 45 minutes and start near the Central Station of The Hague.

Monday - sunday :

Departure times are 11.15 (am), 12.15, 1.15, 2.15, 3.15, 4.15 and 5.15pm.
You can buy your tickets at the local Tourist Infodesk (Spui 68 - next to the Cityhall) or at the Museumshop, next to the Escher Museum at the Lange Voorhout.

Prices :
0 / 2 years old : free.
3 / 11 years old : 4 euro p.p.
12 years and older : 7 euro p.p.

Saturday & Sunday :

In the weekend there are more tours. There are the 45 minute tours as described above, but there are also longer tours.

On saturday and sunday there is a 2 hour tour towards the beach and back starting at the Central Station and ending near the wonderful shopping area Frederikstraat/Denneweg. Departure times are 11.00 (am) and 1.00, 3.00, 5.00 pm.

Prices :

3 / 11 years old : 6 euro p.p.
12 years and older : 12,50 euro p.p.

These tours are two hours, but you can choose to get off at either Miniature city Madurodam (opening again 1 april 2012) or at the Beach (5 minutes walk) and thus buy a ticket for a shorter tour.

Prices for a tour to Madurodam (20 minutes by boat):

12 years and older : 6 euro p.p.

Prices for a tour to the Beach (60 minutes by boat):
0 / 2 years old : free.
3 / 11 years old : 5 euro p.p.
12 years and older : 8 euro p.p.

Groupon 2011 - Willemsvaart

If you bought a Groupon ticket in october 2011 for a Willemsvaart between Houtrust and Haringkade we are pleased to inform you that they are also valid in March and April 2012.

Booking one or two boats for a group (family, compagny, friends)

You can book a boat (max 9 adults or 10 children under 12 and 2 adults) for private tour in The Hague. In that case you can tell us where (within The Hague / Scheveningen) you would like to start and at what time.

The price for a boat (incl. skipper) is

70 euro for one hour, 35 euro for every extra 30 minutes.

The city has made several "docking" places for boatcompagnies like the Willemsvaart.
Boattours can start behind trainstation Hollands Spoor, next to the Central Station, The Hilton Hotel (Museum Panorama Mesdag), Uilebomen (Spui), Koningskade, Cremerweg/Haringkade, Haringkade/Vijzelstraat (Muzee, Beelden aan Zee, Circus Theater, Kuhrhaus and beach), Groothertoginnelaan, Houtrust (Gemeente Museum and beach) and of course Madurodam and tea-room Waterkant in the Westbroekpark.

You can also depart or arrive from/at Houtzagerssingel, Westeinde, Newtonstraat, Neuhuyskade, Malieveld/Boorlaan, or the Hart Nibbrigkade.
